A must-have for any bedroom producer who wants to have a good sound, but can't afford the high-end reverbs - this is as close as it gets to them. Too many of the presets are harsh. The convolution reverb algorithm is highly optimized for x86 processors by using hand optimized codes of 3DNow!

Freeverb3 is a signal processing library. You should try it!

I haven't really played with them much but the ProG reverb alone is so good I wanted to post my thumbs up for it. Go to the link for the reverb, find the "tuturials" page, and then click on the ProG link for descriptions of the controls. Frreeverb3 reverb in this package is excellent but it's important that you: Keep the good work up!

Links in Readme file are dead. Sounds nice and airy, and even though its GUI is a little confusing to a layman, it's not that great a hurdle, since all the controls are already there; you just need to dig a little deeper to get the hand of it.

If you want to build audacious plugins, audacious, gtk and libsndfile are required. The main library requires FFTW3 only.
